BASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I STARTED BASS LESSONS TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bass is officially my favorite thing in the world. Other than the obvious animals and Eeyore. And Unicorns. And my iPod. And Orzo.

Okay so maybe its just my favorite
instrument. But it's totally awesome. Super fun. And my teacher is super nice and funny and such. His name's Collin. He's hilarious and calls the D string Dynamite. Woo-hoo, bass!!!!!

. . . And I have another lesson on Friday!!!

Music *or* Around

My mind is full.
My head is heavy.

I don't want to have to deeply ponder things.
I want to drown out my thoughts with loud, meaningless sounds. Therefore, I turn on KIIS fm.

My mind is full.
My head is heavy.

I don't want to cover up my feelings with party music, when I'm not in a party mood at all.
I want to listen to songs that perfectly describe how I feel. I turn to my iPod playlist "On-the-Go 35".

My mind is full.
My head is heavy.

I don't want to talk about what's going on; what's got me feeling like this.
I want to talk around what's going on. I'd rather not really mention it, but just kind of deal with it. So I write this post.

Pie . . . or rather Art

Many of you are unaware of my love for pie. Haha just kidding!! EVERYONE knows that. Even Obama the Awesome.

Starting over. . .

Many of you are unaware of my love for painting and such. I always paint abstract, and usually keep them to myself and my mom (because she helps me set up and clean after). I recently was inspired to do a modern art project after a trip to Home Depot. I was inspired by Jeff Koons after seeing his work at LACMA. Mine consists of a chain link fence (much like the one in the above picture, only smaller) spray painted in apple red and black. On the fence (kinda like the inflatables on the pic) are a womens' and mens' bathroom signs. They are painted in opposite red and black (ex. The woman and WOMEN are in red, background of circle is black, and vice-versa on the mens'). It signifies . . . oh, I'll leave that part for later. When I finish this project, I will be sure to post a picture of it, as well as what it signifies.

'Till my next post,
Patchy

It’s about time I write an unhappy post.*

Who am I kidding? I’m not always happy. Is anyone? Show me one person out there who’s always been happy. See? You can’t. There isn’t anyone out there that’s constantly happy.

Sometimes, when I’m feeling down, I’ll just call my voicemail. It’s best if I have no new messages or any old ones. Then I can just listen.

That lady, the voicemail one, with the nice, calm voice? She seems to know that you can’t always be happy. She doesn’t sound very happy herself. But you can hear a slight smile if you listen. And when you feel like no one cares? She talks all about YOUR new messages. YOUR saved messages. YOUR voicemail. It’s all about you. And she always says that nice little “good-bye” that no one ever says anymore. Now it’s just a “bye”. A “bye” that seems to care less whether it’s good or not. It’s just how you end a conversation that’s lost its interest. But when the voicemail lady says “good-bye”, you might actually feel like it’s going to be a good “bye”. That it’ll be okay. That, in the end, it really will be good.

Now, my cell phone is dead. Literally. It broke. AGAIN. I tried just now calling my mom’s voicemail on her phone, and it wasn’t the same. The lady was detached, not caring about my mom’s voicemails the way my voicemail-lady cares about mine. Her “good-bye” felt rushed, like she had better things to do than wish you well. She had no feeling, no humanity. She was totally robotic.

I hope my phone is fixed soon :-/

*This was supposed to be posted last night.

THIS kind of stuff is going on HERE???

Last night, my stepdad Mituzi was taking me and my mom to an Italian resturant for my mom's birthday dinner, and when we got out of the car, Mituzi spotted a video case-thingy for Sandlot. He was going to throw it out if it was empty being the green-soul he is, but guess what? There was no video tape in it, but it wasn't empty either! There, in a case for Sandlot, a KID movie, in front of our very eyes, was a lighter and two pot-pipes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We FREAKED once we realized what they were!!!!!!! SO freaky and creepy that they were THERE. In SANDLOT. And it wasn't even in a dark, shady alley. It was just in front of a nice, fancy resturant. NEAR OUR HOUSE. Isnt it scary that kind of stuff is going on so near us? That it could be anywhere? That a little kid could have picked them up??? Creepiest night ever, man. Dang FRIGHTNING.

I'm not quite sure what to write about, so i'm hoping something interesting will just come out.

last week, i went into the Apple store at the mall and went on one of the really big Macs. So, i go to check my blog, and as soon as the page comes up, there's this HUGE, VICIOUS-LOOKING PICTURE OF PALIN TAKING UP THE ENTIRE SCREEN!!! ugh. that's the last time I put a hideous picture of some wolf-slaughtering lady first on my blog. dumb, dumb me. when will i ever learn? :-P

my enemy read all my journals when we were still friends and now im afraid she might tell everyone what she read....im scared!!

i had a weird dream last night. the part i remember best is when i was with this kinda nice lady and she had to wait with me in this super scary and dangerous place. i thought she might be bad at first, but after a while she got nicer and i got to know her better. then she kinda reminded me of Tricia. WEIRD!!!

well, i'm kind of disappointed that nothing interesting and compelling came out, but now i think im going to go do something more productive, so goodbye.
